EARLY 2013 — PSE INDEX BREAKS 7,000

M: Tara, stocks na tayo!! Bili tayo blue-chips.
A: Wag muna, mahal na. Mataas na valuations. P/E’s (Price to Earnings Ratio) are historically high. Mas OK valuations ng Thailand. Malalaglag din yan.

LATE 2013 — INDEX DROPS TO 5,900

M: Lugi na ko!!… huhuhuhuhuhu Di bale…Average down… LONG-TERM AKO!!!!!
A: Bahala ka. Bearish na indicators ko. Basta ako hintayin ko yan mag-5000. Andun naman ang support niyan eh.

EARLY 2014 — INDEX RALLIES TO 7,300

M: Ay salamat, kumikita na ng konti.
A: Hmmm, I would like to buy but the valuations are too high again. Will wait for the correction before I enter.

LATE 2014 — INDEX DROPS to 7,000

M: Sayang. Dapat siguro nagbenta na ko. Para safe, benta na ko ng konti.
A: Ayan na, simula na yan ng correction. Bibili ako sa 6,000.

EARLY 2015 — INDEX TEASES THE 8,000 LEVEL

M: Yehey! Kumikita na ko. Kaso sayang yung nabenta ko.
A: Damn. Would really like to buy but the valuations are just too high. Will wait for the correction to occur.

There is NO moral to this story really. I just wrote it because I find it interesting that variations of this conversation have appeared in sooo many threads / groups and conversations over the years.
